Rick has been working on several books and is currently working on securing a publisher for them. In his first book, From the Buckeyes to the Bronx, Rick will share what it is like to be a sports executive for a high profile college or professional team and give readers a behind-the-scenes look at the people and places that were part of his career. It will also talk about the integral role that Rick's late wife, Denice, played in his career, as a supporter and partner in his success.
In his second book, Michigan Days, Rick writes about his 20 years as a student athlete at the University of Michigan, the school's wrestling coach, and his work with the alumni, the first job he had in sports administration.
Rick has also started The Bay Blog, his blog on this site, where he will be writing about current topics in sports that are making the headlines and his views on them.
